These loadspeakers evolved while I was thinking that the front end of the speakers would look nice if the
sandwich structure of thick plywood would be visible from the front. So I began building a very simple
square box using nothing but plywood. While I love simple solutions I also decided to simply use nails to
bring the parts together. After I did that I started sanding the boxes using several different types of
sanding paper. After that I coated them all with special boat coating. I coated them several times and
sanded in between. When I put in the speaker elements and first listened to them they sounded fantastic.
Unfortunatelly, the fantastic Chinese tweeters are no longer available.
